If you prefer to call in to make a reservation, the hotel reservation phone number is 888-627-7076, and please ask for “NSF Design Automation Workshop” date of July 7-9, 2009. Please note the cut-off date for accepting reservations into this room block is June 09, 2009. The room rate for this room block is $165/night plus tax for 2 nights of July 7 & July 8, 2009. We have the budget to cover the hotel for these two nights (the workshop will end by 2pm on July 9). But if you need to stay for an extra night due to flight schedule, please let me and Prof. Cong know immediately. The rate for extra night(s) is based on hotel availability and might result at a higher price since it’s not part of the workshop room block.
Please note that when you book online, you will need to enter your credit card number and the total amount and the total nights will show on the confirmation, but if you only stay for the 2 workshop nights (July 7 and July 8), when you check out, you will not have to pay for these 2 nights on your credit card, it will be billed directly to the UCLA Master Account. For those that will stay more night(s), then you will be charged for the extra nights on your credit card.
Early Departure Fee
In the event that a guest who has reserved a room within the workshop block checks out prior to the guest's reserved checkout date, an early departure fee will be charged to that guest's individual account. Guests wishing to avoid this fee must advise the hotel at or before check-in of any change in the scheduled length of stay. The Hotel will inform members of the workshop group of this fee upon check-in.
